Coriolis is providing market analysis and financial feasibility analysis inputs to the team selected by TransLink to examine redevelopment opportunities for the portion of North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale area that includes the SeaBus terminal and the ICBC headquarters.

The City of Regina has engaged Coriolis to analyze its existing programs for providing incentives for heritage building preservation and rehabilitation. Coriolis will identify possible improvements to the property tax incentive program and examine the potential to use density bonusing  to provide additional financial incentives for heritage projects.

Coriolis provided market analysis inputs to town centre plans in the District of North Vancouver, including Lower Capilano, Lower Lynn, and Maplewood. Our work included forecasting demand for residential and commercial development, as well as recommending land use and density policies that will encourage redevelopment.

City of Victoria, BC

Coriolis was been retained as the lead consultant to prepare a sustainable economic development strategy for the City of Victoria. Building on economic forecasts that Coriolis prepared as an input to the City’s new Official Community Plan, the economic development strategy outlines an action plan for employment growth that will be fiscally, environmentally, and socially sustainable.

Lacombe, AB

Coriolis assisted the town of Lacombe, Alberta with the preparation of a growth management plan, to guide future urban development to accommodate residential and commercial expansion.

We have facilitated public meetings and workshops dealing with proposed urban development projects in a variety of settings.

Coriolis advised the Portland Economic Development Commission on the potential for creating an new downtown public market as a centrepiece in the redevelopment of a residential and heritage district.
